The Historical Beijing China
I can't deny the fact that i'm a person that keeps on wandering in different places not just in my country but also internationally. I came from a family of travelers because my aunt owns a travel agency. We love visiting other places to knows it's different culture, traditions, locals, foods and most expecially to see the beauty of this world and to make memories. I came into a lot of places already but for me as a Toursim student, I chose this Beijing Trip as the center of my blog because China is a really known country.
It was December 2018 when me and my family went in Beijing China where we celebrated our first international Christmas here. It was our first christmas away from home that's why it's one of the most unforgettable travel I had. And also, it was the first time that i didn't access my social media accounts because facebook, messenger and other social media accounts are baned there. It was also the first time that I didn't greet my close friends and some family members during Christmas Day, it was a bit sad because I can't share my experiences instantly throught chats or video calls because like what i've said, social medias are banned.
This blog contains the places you badly needeed to visit when you are in Beijing China
1st: The Famous Great Wall of China
The Great Wall of China is the world's longest wall and biggest ancient architecture. Its winding path over rugged country and steep mountains takes in some great scenery. It has a stunning array of scenery from the beaches of Qinhuangdao, to rugged mountains around Beijing, to a desert corridor between tall mountain ranges.
This picture was taken on Christmas Day, it was me, my cousins KIn and Ethan, my aunt, uncle, grandmother and grandfather and the grandfather of my 2 cousins. It was freezingly cold and I remember it was -14degrees thats why we were using 3 pieces of clothes on the inside, our hands became numb.
Did you know?: The Great Wall of China not only served as a military defense system, but also carries a contribution to China's profound literary culture, through the sayings, proverbs, and idioms associated with it.
You can also buy different kinds of pasalubongs/souvenirs like ref magnet, tshirt, great wall miniature and a lot more. It is located near the entrance of Great Wall.
2nd: The Forbidden City
China's most glorious palace sits in the heart of the capital city of Beijing. As one of China's largest and most well-preserved heritage sites, the Forbidden City is a must-see for all visitors to China. It is considered to be among the world's top 5 most important palaces of all time, and is China's most popular single-site tourist attraction.
We just went to sightsee and it didn't take us long because it was very cold that time and we just took a picture and then came back instantly inside the travel bus because there is heater inside.
Did you know?: The Forbidden City, a.k.a. the Palace Museum, is home to the best collection of Chinese historical artifacts in the world. Collections span thousands of years of Chinese history and it’s considered one of the best museums in the world.
3rd: The Temple of Heaven
The Temple of Heaven, founded in the first half of the
15th century, is a dignified complex of fine cult buildings set in gardens and
surrounded by historic pine woods. In its overall layout and that of its
individual buildings, it symbolizes the relationship between earth and heaven –
the human world and God's world – which stands at the heart of Chinese
cosmogony, and also the special role played by the emperors within that
relationship.
I remember I took a lot of pictures here but I can't find it anymore. But here's one I cam really say that the place itself is very pleasing and beautiful. When we went there there are a lot of people praying and worshipping in silence that's why we didn't make a noice to show respect.
Did you know?: The area of the Temple of Heaven is up to about 273 hectares (675 acres), making it the largest existing architecture group for heaven worshiping in the world.
More experiences:
Chinese foods/cuisine
I can really say that all of the chinese foods that we've eaten and tasted it is all good for me. It tastes very yummy especially their noodles and dumplings. I also remember that in every restaurants we go, they all serves chinese petchays and seasons it and it tastes really good when you mix it with every chinese foods.
Skiing
Part of our package tour is going into a Ski resort, I'm a fraid to ski because i'm clumsy that's why i just used some ski skates not the boards and the stick. I just took a picture. But if you're the kind of person who wants to try new things skiing is definitely a must thing to do for you.
